We generally recommend a professional clean once every 12 months. That is also the recommendation of most carpet manufacturers. Of course this is entirely dependant on how much you use the area, do you have kids, pets etc. It is reasonable to clean it more than once a year if you feel it necessary. There is no harm in multiple cleans per year, in fact there is benefits in doing so.

Yes, vacuuming once a week can greatly increase the life span of your carpet. It is needed to get all the deep down grit out of the pile. And this in turn will reduce the wear on the pile.

We recommend an upright vacuum cleaner with a powerbrush. This will be most effective in removing debris from your carpet in between professional cleans. There is no real need to spend a huge amount on a vacuum such as a Dyson. To be honest they all do the same thing.

This really is difficult to answer as every situation is different. Both methods give very good results.

Things like fibre type, stains and usage all affect which method will suit you better. Our friendly techs will be able to discuss this and guide you as to what method will get you the best results.

We will try to give an accurate quote over the phone and as long as descriptions are accurate, we will stick to our quote. Never will we use "bait and switch" in which once onsite trying to increase charges.
